Investing in your newborn session

Hi friends!

I’ve had quite a few inquiries lately asking about very low-cost newborn sessions, and I wanted to share a little insight.

I truly understand that the economy has been tough for many families—I really do. At the same time, the cost of running a professional photography business has continued to rise as well. From specialized props (some costing $100–$200 each), to professional gear, ongoing education, and safe newborn handling practices—there’s a significant investment behind every session.

Newborn photography is also intentionally slow and baby-led. I take my time to ensure your little one is comfortable, safe, and never rushed. That care, patience, and experience is a huge part of what you’re investing in.

Because of this, I’m not able to offer sessions at deeply discounted rates. I do offer smaller session options to accommodate different needs, but my full newborn session is $429 and includes 6–7 styled setups, family images, and a fully retouched gallery. It’s been thoughtfully designed to give families a complete and meaningful experience—and truly is an incredible value for what’s included.

I’ve been so honored to serve families for over 9 years and have photographed more than 250 newborns. I stand confidently behind the quality and care I provide. This work means so much to me, and I pour that into every single session.

I understand that I may not be the right fit for everyone—and that’s okay. But if you have worked me into your budget, please know how deeply I appreciate you. It’s because of clients like you that I’m able to continue doing what I love.
